New Students

If you are a first-year student making the transition to college or just new to one of our Tuscaloosa campuses, we are here for you! We offer weekly events, service & missions opportunities, and a host of other fun events designed to build community.

Journey Groups

Freshman Journey Groups will meet Monday nights during the fall semester. Upperclassman Journey Groups meet Mondays and Thursdays during the fall. Upperclassmen and freshman meet together in the spring. Sign ups for the fall 2025 semester coming this summer!

New Student Core Team

The New Student Core Team meets weekly for leadership development and project planning in the fall semester beginning in September. Meeting information will be posted in the fall. Ask your Journey Group leader for more information! Or talk to Kim or Kyle.

Class Tours

For UA Students: Class tours are walking tours during Welcome Week each fall led by upperclassmen to make sure you know where all of your classrooms are located before the first day of the fall semester. Sign up coming soon!
